Responsibilities: As a Fire Extinguisher Technician at Four Alarm, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing installation, maintenance, and testing of fire extinguisher units.
  • Conducting electronic inspections and submitting timely inspection reports.
  • Providing technical support to customers as needed.
  • Delivering operational training to end-users.
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience with Four Alarm.
  • Reading and comprehending engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals.

Requirements and Skills: To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Preferred experience as a Service Technician in the Fire Extinguisher industry.
  • Completion or willingness to complete a fire extinguisher maintenance course at SAIT, NAIT, Lakeland College, or equivalent acceptable qualification (on-the-job training provided).
  • Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and tools such as drills.
  • Capability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Proficiency in climbing ladders and scaffolding.
  • Possession of a valid and clean motor vehicle license.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (additional experience is an asset).
  • Ability to use computer systems and software, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.

Compensation and Benefits: Joining our team comes with a competitive compensation package, including:

  • $25.00 to $30.00/hour – Commensurate with experience
